It was so dark, but this was my chance because they forgot to close the door.
I quickly ran outside and tried to run as far away as I could. I couldn't remember the last time I was outside. I felt so free until I heard sounds from other animals because I didn't feel so good next to new friends. I didn't know where I was running to, but I started to get tired. I saw a small house in the distance and walked towards it. I was so tired that I had to cough the whole time. I stood in front of the door of the house. After a while, I felt warmth collide with me and saw the door open. A human emerged and looked around as I looked her straight in the eye. Just when she was about to close the door again, I had to cough and then she saw me standing there. She made strange movements to me and I was scared for a moment, but also so interested in her house that I went inside. She looked for something in a plastic bag and put it on the plate. It was nothing like food I normally got. Just when she was about to put it down in front of me, I wasn't sure if I wanted to smell it. Seconds later, I didn't know what was happening, but I was very shocked by her movements. She stared at me for a few seconds and had said something in human language. I didn't know what it was or meant, but I felt safe next to her.
I didn't know why I woke up at 2:00 a.m. today, but it happened. I was so tired and confused until I heard a noise outside my door. At first, I was too lazy to check, but the sound didn’t stop, so I went to check anyway. I opened the door and saw nothing in front of me, looked around but no one was there. Just as I was about to close the door, I heard the same sound again. This time, it came from below. I looked down and saw two cute looking eyes looking at me. I think I was too tired beforehand to understand that it was a “meow!” sound of a cat. The cat looked like he was very frightened and tired. I took him in and wanted to give him something to eat. I saw that there was still some cat food left in my cupboard. Just as I was about to put the plate on the floor, it slipped out of my hand. The cat got so scared that he immediately tried to hide behind the table. I didn't know why he reacted like that because it wasn't something scary and the plate didn’t fall from too high either. Just as he jumped a little from shock, I saw a name tag around his neck and wounds on his body. After a bit of thinking everything was already clear to me. I whispered to him that everything was going to be okay.

BAKIŞ AÇILARI
Çok karanlıktı ama bu benim şansımdı çünkü kapıyı kapatmayı unutmuşlardı.
Hızla dışarı çıktım ve olabildiğince uzağa kaçmaya çalıştım. En son ne zaman dışarı çıktığımı hatırlamıyordum. Diğer hayvanlardan sesler duyana kadar kendimi çok özgür hissettim çünkü yeni arkadaşların yanında kendimi pek iyi hissetmiyordum. Nereye koştuğumu bilmiyordum ama yorulmaya başlamıştım. Uzakta küçük bir ev gördüm ve oraya doğru yürüdüm. O kadar yorgundum ki sürekli öksürmek zorunda kaldım. Evin kapısının önünde durdum ve bir an sonra bir sıcaklığın bana çarptığını hissettim ve kapının açıldığını gördüm. Bir insan belirdi ve ben onun gözlerinin içine bakarken etrafa baktı. Tam kapıyı tekrar kapatmak üzereyken öksürmek zorunda kaldım ve orada durduğumu gördü. Bana tuhaf hareketler yaptı ve bir an korktum ama aynı zamanda evi o kadar ilginç görünüyordu ki içeri girdim. Plastik bir torbada bir şey aradı ve tabağa koydu. Normalde yediğim yemeğe hiç benzemiyordu. Tam önüme koymak üzereyken, kokusunu almak isteyip istemediğimden emin değildim. Saniyeler sonra ne olduğunu anlamadım ama hareketleri karşısında çok şaşırdım. Birkaç saniye bana baktı ve insan dilinde bir şeyler söyledi. Ne olduğunu ya da ne anlama geldiğini bilmiyordum ama onun yanında kendimi güvende hissediyordum.
Bugün neden saat 2'de uyandığımı bilmiyordum ama oldu. Kapımın dışında bir ses duyana kadar çok yorgun ve kafam karışmıştı. İlk başta kontrol etmek için çok tembeldim ama ses durmadı, ben de yine de kontrol etmeye gittim. Kapıyı açtım ve önümde hiçbir şey görmedim, etrafa baktım ama kimse yoktu. Tam kapıyı kapatacakken yine aynı sesi duydum. Bu sefer aşağıdan geldi. Aşağıya baktım ve bana bakan iki sevimli göz gördüm. Sanırım önceden bunun bir “miyav!” sesi olduğunu anlayamayacak kadar yorgundum. Kedi çok korkmuş ve yorgun görünüyordu. Onu içeri aldım ve ona yiyecek bir şeyler vermek istedim. Dolabımda hala kedi maması kaldığını gördüm. Tabağı tam yere koyacakken elimden kaydı. Kedi çok korktu, hemen masanın arkasına saklanmaya çalıştı. Neden böyle tepki verdiğini bilmiyordum çünkü korkutucu bir şey değildi ve tabak da çok yüksekten düşmedi. Tam şoktan biraz sıçrarken boynunda bir isim etiketi ve vücudunda yaralar gördüm. Biraz düşündükten sonra her şey benim için açıktı. Ona her şeyin yoluna gireceğini fısıldadım.
